Patna: Internal resentment in Bihar Congress now seems to be a big problem for the party. After the protest outside the party headquarters in Delhi, show cause notice has been issued to 29 leaders of the state Congress. A reply has been sought from these leaders within 72 hours. After this action of the party, the ongoing tussle in Bihar Congress has once again come to the fore.
The disciplinary committee of Bihar Pradesh Congress has sent notices to these leaders. Committee Chairman Kapildev Prasad Yadav has signed the notice. The party has considered the protest held outside the Congress headquarters in Delhi on September 8 as against discipline. In fact, some leaders had demonstrated outside the party office in Delhi expressing their displeasure against the leadership of Bihar Congress. Now the disciplinary committee has sought clarification on the entire matter from the leaders involved in the protest.
In the notice, the leaders have been asked to explain why they protested against the party leadership. Everyone will have to give their reply before the disciplinary committee within the stipulated time limit. After this, the committee can decide on further action based on their answers.
Many big names included
Many famous faces of Congress are also included among the leaders who have received show cause notices. Among these, the names of former MLA Anil Singh, Kumar Vikal, former MLA Madan Mohan Tiwari, Poonam Devi, Vidhushekhar Pandey, Bharat Bhushan Dubey, Satyendra Yadav and Mrityunjay Singh are being mentioned. All these leaders have been given a chance to present their side in 72 hours. This action issued by the party has brought the ongoing differences in Bihar Congress into discussion.
Resentment increased regarding leadership
It is clear from this step of the party that the issue of dissatisfaction regarding leadership in Bihar Congress is becoming serious. The protest in Delhi is being considered a big sign of this resentment. Now all eyes are on the answers of these 29 leaders. Only after their clarification will it be decided whether the Congress leadership ends the matter here or any further strict action is taken against the concerned leaders.
