Shadow of mourning in the family of former cricketer Sreesanth, father dies at the age of 89, last farewell to be held on Sunday

Sreesanth Father Passed Away: A mountain of sorrows has fallen on former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth. Sreesanth’s father V. Shanthakumaran Nair passed away at the age of 89. The family members themselves have confirmed this. According to family sources, Sreesanth’s father was admitted to Lissie Hospital for treatment. Nair died during treatment at around 9:45 pm on Friday night. At present, the body of Sreesanth’s father Nair is kept in the hospital mortuary. After the arrival of relatives from abroad, his body will be taken to his ancestral home in Kothamangalam on Sunday.

When will the funeral take place?

It is being told that on Sunday i.e. 13th September, the mortal remains of V. Shanthakumaran Nair will be brought to his ancestral residence in Kothamangalam. Here his mortal remains will be kept at the family home for the last darshan from 10 am to 2 pm. After this the last rites will be performed at 4 pm. Let us tell you that Sreesanth’s father Shantakumaran Nair has worked as zonal manager in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). After retiring from this post, he was spending time with his family.

Sreesanth’s father was his support system

Former cricketer Sreesanth’s father was his biggest support system. His father made him a cricketer after facing many struggles. Sreesanth himself had told that his father had sold his house to make him a successful cricketer. V Shanthakumaran did everything to fulfill his son’s dream. Not only this, when Sreesanth was accused of spot-fixing in IPL 2013, his father had openly supported his son. After this, when Sreesanth was proved innocent, his family celebrated a lot.

S Sreesanth is counted among the most dangerous fast bowlers in the history of Indian cricket. He played international cricket for the Indian team for many years.
