In a conversation with Rajni Haridas, Aishwarya Lakshmi said that she felt uncomfortable with the behavior of the photographers during the event. He said that the cameras were focused on his body instead of his face.
According to the actress, in such a situation her body language also changed and she felt that her personal boundaries were being violated.
'Why add culture to women's clothing?'
Aishwarya said that people linked her discomfort to the clothes, whereas the real problem was with the focus of the cameras. She questioned why a woman's culture is linked to her neckline or the length of her dress.
The actress said that culture is visible not only in the clothes but also in the behavior of the person. She also questioned why instead of stopping those who question women's clothing, women are always advised to be careful about their attire.
Laughed off trolling in the beginning
Aishwarya told that initially she did not take the criticism on social media seriously and kept laughing at it for about 24 hours. But later when the matter became increasingly viral, she was surprised that such a big debate arose over her outfit.
