There was brainstorming throughout the day among the students and experts about what is the condition of leadership in various fields including business, how it can be improved and what steps should be taken to be successful in it. Held at IIFT GIFT City Campus, Gandhinagar, the conference focused on important aspects of today's workplace, including how to engage and retain the talented next generation, how technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming workplaces and how organizations can create workplaces where employees experience professional dignity, meaningful work, purpose, accessibility and work-life balance.
Nexus 2026 aims to strengthen the dialogue between industry and academia and create opportunities for students and budding business leaders to learn directly from experienced professionals. In this first such edition, two panel discussions were organized on the topics “Gen Z at Workplace” and “Great Place to Work 2.0”. During the discussion, diverse perspectives on talent, culture, leadership, technology and the workplace of the future were presented.

The first panel discussion “Gen Z in the Workplace: Engaging, Developing and Retaining a New Generation of Talent” focused on the changing expectations of the 'Gen Z' generation entering the workplace. In this discussion, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of HLE Glasscott Limited and Yash Group Mr Pascal Dantas; regulator of uplers and movers Dr. Deepa Mishra; Head of Center of Excellence, Zydus Group Mr. Anil Nair; and Chief Human Resources Officer of Gift Company Limited Mr. Vishal Chhibber Had participated.
