New Delhi. Lalu Prasad Yadav's party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has declared the names of 6 candidates for the MLC elections to be held in Bihar. Lalu family's discord regarding selection of candidates has once again come to the fore. Lalu's daughter Rohini Acharya, without taking his name, has targeted her brother and Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav. Rohini Yadav has accused opportunists of being given priority in ticket distribution. He has termed it as a breach of promise to the loyal Laluists along with a gross disrespect to the dedicated leaders, workers and supporters of RJD.

Rohini posted on Sidelining the leaders who nourished the party and organization by facing lathicharge for decades shows RJD's indifference towards internal democracy and grassroots cadre. This decision is not only a breach of promise to the loyal Laluists, but is also a deep blow to Lalu ji's ideology, basic principles of the party and the strength of the organization. RJD has declared Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh as candidate from Patna teacher seat and Dilip Kumar from Patna graduate seat. Whereas Nitesh Kumar from Kosi graduate, Anil Kumar Jha from Darbhanga graduate, Prof. from Saran teacher seat. Jairam Yadav and Dr. Rashmi Vinayak Gautam from Tirhut graduate have been made candidates. Elections are to be held on a total of eight MLC seats, currently RJD has not declared the names of candidates on two seats.

Even before this, Rohini Acharya had attacked Tejashwi Yadav several times on many issues. In January, when Tejashwi Yadav was elected the working president of RJD, Rohini had challenged Tejashwi and his close ones and said that questions had been raised earlier also, questions are being raised even today, will be raised in future also, if one has moral courage then one should muster the courage to face the questions on an open platform.
