Legendary bhajan singer and Padma Shri awardee Anup Jalota has launched the 'Bhaktidwar Television App', a digital platform aimed at bringing devotional and spiritual content together with modern technology. He also unveiled the app's logo at the launch event.
Speaking on the occasion, Jalota described Bhakditwar as more than just a digital platform, saying it could help people find peace and positivity amid growing stress and anxiety.
“I have myself entered Bhaktidwar. It is not just an app; it is a gateway to devotion, happiness and peace. Today, people are going through stress, anxiety, and mental pressure. In such times, remembering God, listening to bhajans, and connecting with spirituality can bring true peace to the mind,” he said.
Jalota expressed confidence that the platform would help connect millions of people with spirituality and noted that the younger generation is increasingly showing interest in devotional music and spiritual content.
“When a person is under stress, there is no greater comfort than remembering God and immersing oneself in devotion. Bhaktidwar is a wonderful initiative that carries this positive thought forward,” he added.
Dinesh Asopa, founder of the Bhakditwar Television App, thanked Jalota for his guidance and support, describing the platform as a long-cherished dream that took nearly a decade to materialize.
“I have been working on this app for the last 10 years. Our objective was not merely to create another OTT platform, but to build a digital destination where people can access devotional, spiritual and Sanatan Dharma-related content under one roof,” Asopa said.
Several special series created for Bhaktidwar have been directed by filmmaker Jaidev Chakravorty. The shows explore spiritual themes through contemporary formats while retaining their devotional essence.
