Uttarakhand News: An inspiring step has been taken in the direction of honing the talents hidden in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand and giving them comprehensive experience. A grand and encouraging program was organized at Swami Manmanthan Auditorium located in Kirtinagar development block. When a group of 68 meritorious students from Devprayag assembly constituency reached here in front of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a different enthusiasm and confidence was visible in the atmosphere. This team is leaving on a tour to various states and big institutions of the country under the 10th edition of Bharat Darshan Educational Tour. The Chief Minister established direct communication with all the students, learned about their journey and extended his warm wishes to the entire team. He said that bookish knowledge is very important, but when the same knowledge is combined with practical experiences under the open sky, then real development of personality takes place.

Opportunity to understand the diversity and achievements of the country

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in his address that Bharat Darshan is not just a picnic, but it is a huge platform for learning. When children from hilly areas visit different parts of the country, they will be able to see with their own eyes India's rich cultural heritage, glorious history, development of modern science and technology. This experience gained outside the confines of the classrooms expands the scope of students' thinking. Motivating the students, the Chief Minister said that wherever they go during the tour, they should understand the social characteristics of the place and try to know how that area has progressed. After completion of the journey, these experiences should be shared with one's classmates, so that this light of knowledge reaches other children of the society as well.

Only determination and continuous efforts make one extraordinary.

Giving the students the basic mantra of success in life, the Chief Minister said that all the people who have created history in the world were once ordinary. The journey from ordinary to extraordinary is decided only by continuous hard work and strong willpower. He said that a definite aim of life should be decided in youth itself. When the goal is clear, the resolution is strong and there is true dedication in the mind, then no obstacle can stop a person from moving forward. Along with this, he urged the students to always maintain respect and reverence towards their parents and teachers. The Chief Minister said that only the blessings of family and teachers show a person the right path in difficult times and keep him grounded.

Leading Uttarakhand and national level recognition

Referring to the overall development of the country, the Chief Minister said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country is moving rapidly towards building a developed India. Uttarakhand is also walking shoulder to shoulder in this national campaign. The state government is working with full dedication to make the state a leader in every field of development. Expressing pride, he said that Uttarakhand has secured the first position in the entire country in the list of sustainable development goals set by NITI Aayog. Apart from this, Uttarakhand has become the first state of independent India, which has taken a historic decision to implement the Uniform Civil Code. To safeguard the future of the youth, a very strict anti-copying law has been made in the state, due to which now only hardworking children are getting jobs on the basis of their qualifications.

The Chief Minister praised the efforts of Devprayag MLA Vinod Kandari for this successful event. He said that running any social or educational program continuously for 10 years without stopping is a great sadhana. This initiative is awakening a sense of healthy competition among the children studying in remote villages. Whereas MLA Vinod Kandari termed this occasion as a glorious one for the region and said that it is the biggest dream of life coming true for the children of ordinary families from rural background to meet the Chief Minister of the state directly and get guidance from him. He told that when this journey was started a decade ago, many problems had come to the fore, but today seeing its results gives immense satisfaction to the heart. Now the children of the area are working hard in their studies and are scoring up to 96 percent marks in the board examinations.

Along with senior officials of the government and administration, many prominent educationists and public representatives were also present in this program organized in the auditorium. In the program, District Magistrate Nitika Khandelwal, Senior Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey and Chief Development Officer Varuna Aggarwal also encouraged the children. Also, Vice Chancellor of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Prof. A large number of local citizens including Prakash Singh, BJP District President Uday Rawat, Vice President Narendra Singh, Kirtinagar Block Chief Anchala Khandelwal, Devprayag Block Chief Vinod Bisht and Nagar Panchayat President Rakesh Mohan Maithani were present.
