Bihar News: Held on Sunday in Ram Nagri Colony Sector-2 of Patna. Free Eye Checkup Camp About 200 people got their eyes checked. The camp was jointly organized by Ram Nagari Sector-2 Residents Welfare Association (RWA) and Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, Mastichak, Saran. Apart from Ram Nagari, people from other parts of Patna also came to get tested.
Investigation took place from 11 am to 5 pm
The camp ran from 11 am to 5 pm. People were given the facility of free basic eye checkup and vision test near their home without going to the hospital.
during this time Torch Test, Visual Acuity Test, Auto-Refractometer Test, Slit Lamp Test and Primary Eye Test were done. Screening for common eye related problems was also done.
Hi-tech Vision Van was also present
At the camp site for different types of tests Hi-tech Vision Van i.e. Mobile Eye Clinic Was also available. Those found to require further detailed examination were referred for advanced eye examination at Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital.
Hospital Chief Public Relations Officer Vivek Vikas According to Akhand Jyoti, the goal of Akhand Jyoti is to eliminate curable blindness from Bihar. Under this, by the year 2030 1.20 crore eye tests and 20 lakh eye surgeries The target has been set.

From the hospital in Kidwaipuri, Patna. Patna Vision Lounge Premium OPD facility is also being provided through . Patients needing surgery were also informed about the facility of free transport and food to travel from their residence in Patna to the main hospital in Mastichak.
RWA did many works in four months
RWA Secretary Anjani Sharma Said that the association has been working on improving the facilities in the colony for the last four months. Arrangements have been made to install house number plates on the houses on both the lanes, put up colony signboards, repair damaged manhole covers, help in getting new PNG connections, installation of new street lights along with regular road cleaning and anti-mosquito fogging.
Senior Advocate and Camp Host M.P. Dixit Said that the good participation of people in the camp shows the growing confidence of the residents towards RWAs.
