Ashoknagar. On Monday, such a painful accident came to light in Vikrampur village under Chanderi police station area of the district, which shocked the entire area. Four brothers died untimely by drowning in a well built in a field near the village. The age of all four innocent people who became victims of the cruel blow of time was less than 10 years. While a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the family due to the simultaneous extinguishing of four lamps of the same house, there is deep grief and mourning in the entire Vikrampur village.
According to the information received, four innocent children of laborer Banveer Kushwaha, resident of Vikrampur, suddenly left the house without informing on Monday morning. While playing, the four children reached the fields about half a kilometer away from the village. The unaware group of innocent children had no idea that their playful steps were moving towards death. At around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, when a person from the village was passing through the fields, his eyes suddenly fell on the well situated in the fields. Seeing the dead body of a child floating in the water of the well, the ground slipped under the feet of the villager. When he went closer and looked carefully, the lifeless bodies of the four children were being lowered into the water inside the well. On seeing this horrific scene, the villager ran to the village in a distraught state and informed the villagers along with his family about the incident.
As soon as the news spread, there was an uproar, grandmother started crying and was in bad condition.
The news of the accident spread like wildfire and within no time a huge crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. Seeing the pieces of his liver in this condition, the entire area was shaken by the screams of his family members. As soon as the information was received, the Chanderi police team immediately reached the spot and with the help of the villagers, after much effort, the bodies of the four children were taken out of the well. According to the family background, the children's father Banveer Kushwaha works as a laborer to support the family, while his wife has been living in her maternal home for some time. All four innocent children lived at home with their elderly grandmother. When the children did not return home for a long time on Monday morning, the elderly grandmother, unaware of the untoward incident, started searching for them in the streets of the village. He had no idea that his beloved grandson had crossed the village limits and gone so far to the well in the fields.
Accident while playing near the old house of the temple
Villagers told that an old temple house is situated at the place where this heart-wrenching incident took place. Children often visited that place with their grandmother. It is suspected that on Monday too, the four innocent children might have gone in the same direction while playing and while playing at the mouth of the well, one by one they suddenly became victims of an accident. Due to the well being in a deserted area, no one was present there at the time of the accident, due to which there was no opportunity to save the children. The police prepared Panchnama for the dead bodies of the four innocent people and took them to Chanderi Civil Hospital, where the post-mortem process was completed late in the evening. After this the lifeless bodies were handed over to the relatives. When four small funeral pyres arose together, the eyes of every person present became moist. The police have established a track and started a detailed investigation into all aspects and circumstances of the incident.
