Varun Chakraborty was injured in July also
This series of injuries to Varun is not new. When the Indian team went on the tour of England in July, Varun was still a part of the team, but there he became a victim of Grade 2 hamstring injury. Due to this serious injury, he had to stay away from the field for about 3 months. During this time, he spent a long time in CoE to complete his recovery and rehab process. The surprising thing is that when he returned to the field after such a long recovery, he got injured again after playing just one match. The player becoming unfit again after just one spell raises serious questions on the CoE's workload management and fitness clearance process.
