Step into film industry from modeling
Sandali, who is originally from Bihar, moved to Delhi with her family after her father passed away. During her studies, she became interested in acting and came to Mumbai in search of opportunities. She got recognition from the song 'Kaun Hai Woh Ladki' from Sonu Nigam's famous album 'Deewana', after which she got the lead role in 'Tum Bin'.
Challenges in film career
Despite the success of 'Tum Bin', Sandali struggled to get lead roles in Bollywood. He played supporting roles in films like 'Pinjar', 'Om' and 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon'. In 2005, she made her debut in South Indian cinema with the Telugu film 'Ore Pandu', but due to lack of expected success, she decided to stay away from acting.
Marriage and family life
Sandali married businessman Kiran Salaskar in 2005. In an interview he said that he had not made any concrete plans for his career and his life progressed according to circumstances. After marriage, he focused on his family and raising children.
Building a Business Empire
After saying goodbye to films, Sandali entered into business with her husband. He founded a premium bakery and patisserie brand called 'Country of Origin' (COO) in Mumbai. According to reports, her husband's net worth is around Rs 150 crore. Sandali has now created a new identity for herself as a successful entrepreneur.
