Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and prayed that with the blessings of God, everyone's efforts should be successful and the country should continue to progress. UP CM congratulated the people of the state
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given many good wishes to the people of the state for Ganesh Chaturthi and Vishwakarma Puja. He said that Ganeshotsav is not only a festival of religious faith, but also a great festival that strengthens social unity, public awareness and resolve towards the nation.
The worship of Lord Vishwakarma gives us the message of respect for labour, skill and creation. The Chief Minister said that the life philosophy of Lord Ganesha gives the message of conservation and balance of nature. The 'Ekavinshati Patra' i.e. 21 types of letters used in the worship of Ganesha also point towards the Indian tradition of preserving medicinal plants and flora.
He said that festivals should be celebrated with sensitivity towards nature and resolve to protect the environment. Yogi said that Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak had given Ganeshotsav a public form and made it a medium of social unity through faith and nation building through people power.
Even today, Ganeshotsav is an opportunity to unite the society and create a sense of responsibilities towards the nation. The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Puja on September 17, the development and development of the state will be celebrated.
The resolve to build 'Uttar Pradesh' will be further strengthened. He said that today the expressways, airports, industrial corridors and new industrial areas in Uttar Pradesh are proof of the growing economic potential and changing nature of the state. He said that the state government is continuously working towards providing skill training, modern equipment, financial assistance and markets to the artisans, craftsmen and youth.
Employment opportunities are being increased by connecting local products and traditional skills with new technology and markets. The Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to make 'Vocal for Local' a part of their behavior and not just an idea. He said that by giving respect and priority to local products, artisans will get work, youth will get employment and the economy of the state will get a boost. Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh can be made a self-reliant and developed state on the basis of sensitivity towards nature, respect for labor and skills and faith in local capabilities.
