Delhi: Former Indian cricket team's legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar has given a big suggestion to BCCI. He has said that the Board should increase the scope of its Cricket Advisory Committee and include many great former cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly.

He suggested the inclusion of former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Ravi Shastri, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag in the CAC. According to Gavaskar, the cricketing understanding of these experienced players can be used to take Indian cricket forward.
Committee should work with captain and coach
Gavaskar said that if such a committee works together with the team captain, coach and the head of NCA, then Indian cricket can get a big benefit from it.
He believes that such a committee with the presence of BCCI President and Secretary along with former legendary cricketers can further strengthen the decisions related to cricket.
Suggestion of such committee for women's cricket also
Gavaskar has talked about forming a similar committee for women's cricket also. He says that even in women's cricket, big decisions can be taken by bringing together people with experience and expertise.
