Then a similar mail was sent early in the morning to 20-25 thousand people, their termination letter was in the mail. Now the date of 14th September also brought an inauspicious morning for the employees.
The famous tech company has not told how many people the company has laid off. In May, the company had said that by then 21,000 people had been laid off.
According to the company's annual report, at the end of the financial year, the number of employees in the company came down to 1.41 lakh, which was 1.62 lakh till a year ago. However, these may also be due to employee resignations, reduced recruitment and other reasons.
