Team India star cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj are going to tie the knot soon. The couple will get married on December 4 this year at the Ramada Hotel in Lucknow. Earlier, they got engaged on June 8, 2025 at Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. Now that the date and venue of the wedding have been decided, both the families are in a celebratory mood and preparations for the wedding have begun in earnest. Under the captaincy of Rinku, the Meerut Mavericks team became the champions of the UPT20 League 2026.
Their wedding was originally scheduled for June 2026, but had to be postponed after Rinku’s father Khanchand Singh died of cancer. His father’s last wish was to see his son married, but sadly he died before the wedding took place. After his father’s death, the wedding was postponed with the consent of both families, and will now take place in December. Although the guest list is yet to be announced, the wedding preparations are in full swing on both sides.
Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj got engaged in June 2025 at The Centrum Hotel in Sushant Golf City, Lucknow. Many prominent personalities were present on this special occasion. Among the guests were Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, actress Jaya Bachchan and fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Akhilesh Yadav also posed for a photograph with Rinku and Priya and wished them a happy married life.
Rinku Singh hails from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and has become a famous T20 player for the Indian cricket team. Priya Saroj is a young Samajwadi Party MP and has a strong presence in Uttar Pradesh politics. Priya Saroj contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on a Samajwadi Party ticket from Machlishahar in Uttar Pradesh and won a seat in Parliament. The wedding, to be held on December 4, is expected to be attended by relatives and friends, as well as several prominent figures from the world of cricket and politics.
