Why did Gaurav Khanna leave the show?
Now Gaurav Khanna has given the reason for leaving the show in his vlog. The actor told that he was having constant pain in his right elbow. He had suffered an injury before and he returned to the show with the hope that his condition would improve. But the pain continued.
Gaurav said that he wanted to reach the finale of the show and continue his journey. However, he gradually realized that continuously performing difficult stunts could have a negative impact on his injury and recovery.
The actor said, “I don't want to continue further because if there is electrocution or electric current during any stunt, then the pain in my elbow increases a lot. After this, for the next one or two days, I am not able to use full strength in the elbow and palm of my right hand.”
Didn't want to put pressure on recovery
Gaurav further said that he could have gone ahead in the competition, but did not want to put more pressure on his body during his recovery. According to him, continuing with the stunt could have made the injury serious and would have taken longer to recover.
“I could have gone further, but I didn't want to put any more pressure on myself during my recovery,” he said.
Gaurav also told that doctors had advised him to be careful especially while travelling. Doctors had asked him to wear a brace for extra support.
In his vlog, Gaurav also showed the tape and support on his right hand. He told that due to the injury, he had to take many precautions during everyday tasks and stunts. For this reason, he gave priority to his health and recovery instead of moving forward in the show.
