On Wednesday, hundreds of fans were seen waiting for hours outside London's famous Shard building to get a glimpse of their favorite leader. People's craze for Vijay can be gauged from the fact that a large number of fans gathered at the venue.
However, this wait of the fans could not be fulfilled. The Metropolitan Police did not grant permission for the event after concerns were raised about security arrangements. Due to this, Vijay's team had to take the decision to cancel the event.
Seeing the crowd the police did not give permission
Vijay's team informed the fans about the cancellation of the program through loudspeaker. A member of the team said that the event was being canceled due to public safety concerns as permission could not be obtained from the police.
A young fan waiting outside Vijay's hotel said that this decision is right, but such a large number of people are waiting for him here. He told that such crowd is not seen even in Tamil Nadu.
Britain tour ends with investment agreements
CM Vijay had reached Britain with the state delegation to attract investment in Tamil Nadu. According to his office, several agreements related to investment worth about Rs 12,300 crore were signed during the visit.
The objective of these investment projects is to make Tamil Nadu a leading center in Asia in the field of advanced manufacturing and technology. These are expected to create more than 9,400 employment opportunities in the state.
Vijay's Britain tour ends on Wednesday. After this he will return to India.
