Chhattisgarh News: Tuesday became a special day for Meera, who was selling earthen lamps on the roadside in Telibandha Marine Drive, when Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai suddenly arrived at her small stall. The Chief Minister had a heartfelt conversation with Meera and 'Service Resolution Campaign' Bought an earthen lamp from there for the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' program organized under the ASI. The Chief Minister also gave Rs 1,000 to Meera and honored her hard work and self-reliance.
CM Sai took information about the schemes from Meera
The Chief Minister without any formality took information from Meera about her work and family. During the conversation, he asked whether he was getting the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government.
On this Meera told that her Bank account under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana Is open. He also told that he had to Mahtari Vandan Yojana Under this, an amount of Rs 1,000 is being given every month.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness over the information about getting the benefits of the schemes from Meera. He said that government schemes are successful only when their benefits reach the needy people directly and help in improving their lives.
Message of respect for local vendors
Chief Minister Sai said that small roadside vendors, potters, craftsmen and women making local products are becoming the strength of self-reliant Chhattisgarh with their labor and skills. It is the collective responsibility of the society to encourage such people.
He said that buying local products is not just buying any item. Behind it lies the hard work of a family, the skill of an artisan and the livelihood of a small businessman. Buying goods from local vendors also supports their income and family.
'Aashirwad ka Diya' will become a symbol of service and public participation
The earthen lamp bought by the Chief Minister from Meera is now 'Land of Blessings' Will be part of the program. The Chief Minister said that in our culture the lamp is not just a medium of light but also a symbol of hope and positive resolve.
He appealed to the people of the state to actively participate in the Seva Sankalp campaign. He said that cleanliness, environmental protection, helping the needy, planting trees or buying goods from local artisans can also become a medium of public service.
The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of completion of 25 years of public life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' from 17th September to 17th October is being held. In the recent appeal, he has also called upon every family to light the 'Aashirwad ka Diya' on 17th September at 7 pm.
Message of service and self-reliance shown in a lamp
The earthen lamp purchased by the Chief Minister from a small area of Telibandha Marine Drive gave the message of local labour, self-reliance and public participation. On one hand, the work of Meera, who earns her livelihood by working hard, got respect, while on the other hand, the grassroots reach of schemes like Jan Dhan and Mahtari Vandan also came to light.
