Batting first, Barbados Tridents had set a target of 145 runs, to chase which Jamaica Kingsmen started the innings with Maz Sadakat and Kirk McKenzie. Both of them made a record partnership of 138 runs for the opening wicket, in which Maaz Sadaqat’s century had a major contribution.

21 year old Maaz Sadakat was out after scoring 112 runs in 49 balls at a strike rate of 228.57. His innings included 8 sixes and 9 fours.
