It is not advisable to store the cooler with the tank filled with water after the season is over. Moisture in the tank and pad can cause problems like mold, odor and rust.
Before storing the cooler, completely empty the tank and allow the internal parts, including the cooling pad, to dry. To cover the cooler, use a cover that allows air circulation.
