Based on secret information, two terrorists were killed in a joint anti-terror operation by security forces in Bratal area of Udhampur last night. According to White Knight Corps, based on specific information about the presence of terrorists in Bratal area, White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF personnel launched a targeted operation.
The operation was conducted despite bad weather, difficult terrain and low visibility, in which two terrorists were killed. The White Knight Corps said the operation is still ongoing and search and surveillance operations are being conducted in the area. Security forces have been deployed in the area to find and eliminate the remaining threats.
The encounter took place in Majalta area of Udhampur, where the security force had started a search operation after receiving news of suspicious activities late on Wednesday night. “On the intervening night of 16/17 September 2026, in a joint operation based on intelligence inputs, concrete information was received about the presence of terrorists in Bratal area of Udhampur,” the White Knight Corps said in a post. It further said that despite inclement weather, difficult terrain and low visibility, the White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF personnel launched a targeted counter-terrorism operation.
