Before the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a major setback. Six-time former minister Ram Asare Kushwaha left BJP and joined Samajwadi Party on Thursday. She joined the party in the presence of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. During this period, some leaders from other parties also joined the Samajwadi Party. During this, Ram Asare Kushwaha resolved to make Akhilesh Yadav the Chief Minister.
Ram Asare Kushwaha is a well-known OBC leader in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. He has a strong hold in the Kushwaha community due to which he even reached the post of minister several times. 13 years ago, due to differences with Mulayam Singh Yadav, he had broken relations with the Samajwadi Party, but now after 13 years, he has once again joined the Samajwadi Party under the chairmanship of Akhilesh.

What did Ram Asare Kushwaha say?
After joining Samajwadi Party, Ram Asare Kushwaha said that even today he feels that Netaji is present among him. He said, 'Akhilesh Yadav should also get the same title and respect. Where there is respect, you will get something. Where there is no respect, nothing will be achieved, be it politics, kinship or business. He asked his supporters to take an oath that they will not sit at home until Akhilesh Yadav is made the Chief Minister.

Along with Ram Asare Kushwaha, many leaders from Bharatiya Janata Party, Nishad Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal joined the Samajwadi Party. Akhilesh Yadav welcomed all these people into the party. On this occasion, he said that today we are also remembering Lord Vishwakarma ji. He said that just as there was a holiday on Vishwakarma Jayanti, in the same way, once the Samajwadi Party government is formed, there will be a holiday again on Vishwakarma Jayanti. Along with this, he also promised to build a grand and modern temple of Lord Vishwakarma on the river front.

Ram Asare's political journey
Ram Asre is a big face of OBC class in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. He started his political journey from Bahujan Samajwadi Party. For the first time in 1996, he was elected MLA on BSP ticket. After this he joined Samajwadi Party and got many important responsibilities in the party. He was counted among the leaders close to Mulayam Singh and was also given the responsibility of National General Secretary. Along with this, he was also given the status equal to that of a cabinet minister. However, due to his rhetoric the party removed him from important posts. He had taken a different stand from the party regarding the Muzaffarpur riots. Later he left the Samajwadi Party. After this he joined BJP and now after 13 years he has again joined Samajwadi Party.
