In the launch program of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in Varanasi on the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Modi, Rajnath Singh said that the journey connecting Kashi and Vadnagar is a journey to connect the birthplace of the Prime Minister with the land of work. On one side is Kashi, from where his public life got new energy and on the other side is Vadnagar, where he got the blessings and values of Mother Hiraben. He described it as a confluence journey of service, sanskar and sadhana.
Taking aim at the previous governments, Rajnath Singh said that before 2014, India used to lose opportunities. Earlier governments used to sleep or were worried about saving their chair. Referring to the semiconductor industry, he said that the world's largest chip manufacturing company wanted to set up a factory in India, but the then Congress government did not allow it twice and the country lost a huge employment opportunity.
The Defense Minister said that when Prime Minister Modi took the initiative to promote semiconductors, questions were raised as to how its industry could be set up in India. PM Modi still has to serve the country for decades. He was the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first 13 years and has been performing his duties as the Prime Minister of the country for the last 12 years.
He said that the relationship between Vadnagar and Kashi is very old. About two thousand years ago, Buddhist monks traveled from Sarnath to Vadnagar. The objective at that time was to convey knowledge and spirituality from one place to another.
Referring to Prime Minister Modi's initiative to promote local products, the Defense Minister said that when he meets big world leaders, he gifts them items made in India.
BJP State President and Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary said that 500 passengers riding on 250 bikes from Kashi are going to Vadnagar with Ganga water. Similarly, 500 passengers on 250 bikes are coming to Kashi from Vadnagar carrying the water of the holy rivers of Gujarat. On October 7, water will be offered to Baba Hatkeshwar in Vadnagar and the journey will be completed by performing Jalabhishek of Baba Vishwanath in Kashi.
Pankaj Chaudhary said that this journey of thousands of kilometers will pass through 193 districts and 1,159 villages of 10 states. 50 districts of Uttar Pradesh will come on the route of the yatra. Programs will be held at 60 to 80 places every day.
Wishing a healthy life to Prime Minister Modi, he said that under his leadership, India's respect has increased at the global level. As the MP of Kashi, he is developing every corner of Kashi.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan said that there have been governments in the past too, but Prime Minister Modi has worked to give India a new identity in the country and abroad. In the last 12 years, he has established his thinking in every direction and today the eyes of the whole world are on India.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that it is a proud moment for him to stand on the soil of Kashi. Kashi is the oldest city and gives new thinking. From Vadnagar to Kashi, Prime Minister Modi has shown a journey of service. Today the country is changing and moving forward. If the food provider is strong then the country will be strong.
Referring to Prime Minister Modi's understanding of technology, he said that he is working towards providing employment to the youth. This is the new and self-reliant India. Referring to the large number of people coming to Varanasi, he also talked about building a temple of Balaji here.
