Avengers Endgame: Encore Gets Its Boldest Poster Yet as MCU Fans Demand Doomsday Footage

Marvel has unveiled a brand new poster for Avengers: Endgame Encore before its theatrical return. The artwork reunites the original Avengers as the re-release stirs excitement for new Avengers: Doomsday footage.

The latest poster illustrated by @kazoomori brings Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye together. The six heroes are shown in a stylized graphic art style, set against a fiery red-and-black textured background. Sharing the poster on X, the studio wrote, “The end is only the beginning.”

The re-release also ties into the MCU’s next major chapter. Avengers: Endgame Encore will include an exclusive look at Avengers: Doomsday.

The new poster sets the stage for Avengers Endgame: Encore’s theatrical return

The poster arrives as Marvel prepares to bring the 2019 blockbuster back to theaters. The film will return on September 25, 2026, with additional material included in the Encore presentation. The re-release will also feature a new opening, added scenes, and a special end tag. It will have a reported runtime of 183 minutes and 3 seconds in standard screenings.

Infinity Vision is a premium large-format presentation with enhanced sound and picture standards. The new footage is one reason fans are watching the re-release closely.

Standard screenings will have 1 minute and 52 seconds of extra material, according to recent runtime listings. IMAX and Infinity Vision versions will run longer, with 5 minutes and 3 seconds of additional content.

Marvel has also established the connection with Avengers: Doomsday clear through its promotional campaign. The film is scheduled to arrive on December 18, 2026. Joe and Anthony Russo have stated that fans should watch the rerelease of Endgame before seeing Doomsday.

They said, “There’s a very strong connection between Endgame and Doomsday. And if you see the movie in theaters, you’re going to see some new footage that illustrates that connection for you.”

The new poster reveals nothing about the footage or the scenes that will be shown. Marvel is keeping those details under wraps while using the returning Avengers to promote the theatrical event.
