Today, on 17.09.2026, a month-long nationwide “Seva Sankalp Campaign” was launched in Ghoraval development block of Sonbhadra district, to commemorate the completion of 25 years of public service in public life of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from 17 September 2026 to 17 October 2026.
In the same sequence, under the Nutrition Month of September 2026 organized by the Child Development Department, appointment letters were distributed to 209 Anganwadi assistants newly selected for the Anganwadi centers of Ghorawal and Karma development blocks of Ghorawal under the Nutrition Month September 2026.

The program was conducted by District Program Officer, Sonbhadra Vineet Kumar Singh. MLA Ghorawal Dr. Anil Kumar Maurya, Block Chief Deepak Singh Patel, Block Development Officer Ghorawal, Child Development Project Officer and other public representatives, officers and employees were present in the program. The program was organized successfully.
MLA Ghorawal Dr. Anil Kumar Maurya said in his address that the government is fully committed to making Anganwadi centers modern and digital under the joint efforts of the Government of India and the State Government. Emphasizing on increasing women's participation in the society and women's empowerment, he said that the development of women will give more momentum to public awareness campaigns.
On this occasion, the MLA provided hearing machines and smart sticks to 06 beneficiaries of handicapped and disabled category. Besides, under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, 01 beneficiary was provided with utensils related to confectionary, 02 beneficiaries were given sewing machines related to tailors and 04 beneficiaries were given checks of grant amount for setting up small scale industries. It was also informed in the program that as per the intention of the Government of India and the State Government, about 1200 Anganwadi assistants have been appointed in a transparent manner.
District Program Officer Vineet Kumar Singh, in his address, informed the newly selected Anganwadi helpers about their responsibilities. He also informed about the various benefits they will get, such as increase in honorarium, incentive amount and linking with Ayushman card. Highlighting the social importance of the Child Development Department, he said that through Anganwadi assistants, the implementation of departmental schemes on the ground can be ensured in a more transparent and effective manner.
