A day after Aditya Thackeray's statement on Disha Salian death case, his father and Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray reacted. He alleged that a character assassination campaign is being carried out against his family in this case. Warned that if this campaign is not stopped then legal action will be taken.
Uddhav Thackeray's statement has come after the CBI FIR. However, no accused is named in the FIR. On the petition of Disha Salian's father Satish Salian, the Bombay High Court had ordered a CBI investigation into the case.

Uddhav Thackeray said, 'Disha Salian's family or party has no role in her death. This matter is being used for political gains. The repeated allegations are tantamount to defamation. Legal route will be adopted if necessary.
Uddhav Thackeray further said, 'We have no connection with this matter. Aditya has also said this. This issue is not just about me. This kind of character assassination can happen to you too. Uddhav further said in a sarcastic tone, 'If such allegations are made continuously, then for how long will anyone tolerate it? I wonder why the names of Modi and Trump are not there in this case.
What did Aditya Thackeray say?
A day earlier i.e. on Wednesday, MLA Aditya Thackeray had also reacted to the entire incident. He had written on his X account, 'I never met Disha Salian nor knew her. Linking my name to this tragic case is a deliberate and evidence-free character assassination campaign being carried out by some people for almost six years due to political and personal interests.
How did Disha's father react to Aditya Thackeray's statement?
Disha Salian's father Satish Salian reacted to Aditya Thackeray's statement. Satish alleged that Aditya Thackeray has committed a crime. He said, 'I have been taking his name for the last four years. He didn't say anything then. Why are they speaking only after the FIR has been registered? He has committed a crime. Police and CBI will catch them and take the case forward. Now I have no tension; Whatever is necessary, they will do. Now I won't worry about it. Everyone knows about the people involved. Wankhede's statement is there and the data of mobile tower location has also come out. Apart from this we have evidence, photos, videos, everything. Everything will be revealed when the right time comes.

What is the matter of Disha Salian's death?
On June 8, 2020, Disha Salian died after falling from the 12th floor in Malad area of Mumbai. Six days later, on June 14, 2020, film actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also found dead in his Bandra residence. After this, people started linking the deaths of both, because Disha Salian was the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput. Mumbai Police, in its investigation, considered Disha Salian's death as suicide. However, on September 2, on the petition of father Satish Salian, the Bombay High Court ordered a CBI investigation.
