In the Junnar Taluka Level Karate Competition 2026, the students of Samarth Gurukul performed remarkably well in various age groups and weight groups and bagged a total of 13 first positions and 1 second position. All these students have been selected for district level competition. Virendra Gajare won the second position in the 25 to 30 kg weight category in the under 14 years category of karate competition. Avadhoot Bhambre (30–35 kg), Soham Nitin Shelar (40–45 kg), Karthik Gunde (45–50 kg) and Sanskar Dukre (60–65 kg) bagged the first position in the under-17 boys category.

Gauri Choudhary (30–35 kg), Shravani Choudhary (35–40 kg) and Rudra Aher (45–50 kg) bagged the first position in the under-17 girls category. Siddhesh Vishwasrao (60-65 kg), Vignesh Pawar (82 kg) and Jeevan Bangar (above 82 kg) achieved gold in the under-19 boys category.
Samriddhi Jadhav (above 65 kg), Prachiti Ingle (46–48 kg), Ishita Kakade (42–44 kg) and Diksha Bhor (55–60 kg) bagged the first position in the under-19 girls category. In boxing, Aditya Suryavanshi performed impressively at the district level on the strength of determination, self-confidence and consistent practice. In chess, Avni Auti secured the first rank in the taluka due to her concentration, patience, sound decision-making and tactical skills.
