After the ban on TMC's name and election symbol, Mamata Banerjee raised questions on the decision of the Election Commission. At the same time, after the withdrawal of nomination of the party candidate from Nandigram, he announced his support to the Congress candidate.

Tezzbuzz Desk- West Bengal Chief Minister and party chief Mamata Banerjee has launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission after the name and election symbol of Trinamool Congress (TMC) was frozen. He described this decision as a dark day in the history of democracy and termed it an act of political vendetta.

Mamata Banerjee said that after TMC candidate Sanchita Pradhan Dey withdrew her nomination from Nandigram Assembly seat, her party has decided to support the Congress candidate in the interest of the INDIA alliance. He said that his party's solidarity with the opposition alliance remains intact and the Congress candidate will be supported in view of the larger interest in Nandigram.

Mamata Banerjee raised questions on the decision of the Election Commission and asked why such an interim order was issued after the nomination process was completed. He claimed that this decision is not in accordance with the legal process. Mamta said that her party will make a comeback and she is not going to leave TMC. She said that as long as she is alive, All India Trinamool Congress will be with her and she is its founding chairperson.

Mamata Banerjee alleged that the leaders who separated from TMC did not prove their commitment to the party. He said that those who are accused of corruption will have to take responsibility for what they have done.

He said that the election symbols of the people who won the elections a few months ago have now been invalidated. According to Mamata, Rahul Gandhi had spoken to her on phone, while Arvind Kejriwal had also reacted on social media.

Targeting the Election Commission, Mamata Banerjee alleged that this action was taken out of political vendetta. He said that he got information about this at around 1 pm and before that the Election Commission officials had arrived at around 12:45 pm. He claimed that continuous action is being taken against the party.

Mamta Banerjee also made many serious allegations regarding the election process. He claimed that a large number of votes were removed and the election process was manipulated through the use of Artificial Intelligence. He also raised questions regarding the election process in Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

He also mentioned the developments that happened with the Uddhav Thackeray-led party in Maharashtra. Mamta alleged that the Election Commission took similar action there also. He raised questions regarding the investigation of EVM related incidents and said that the electoral process has been hijacked.

Regarding the ban on TMC's name and election symbol, Mamata Banerjee said that her party is about 29 years old and she had worked for the party even when she was an MP. He said that he had never imagined that his party's name and election symbol could be confiscated like this.

Mamata Banerjee also accused the police of threatening TMC workers. He claimed that party members were being tortured. She also said that she is under house arrest and despite having been a Union Minister, she is not getting the same freedom as a common citizen.
