Tata Motors has officially launched the TATA Sierra Legend Series, expanding its popular SUV lineup in the Indian automobile market. This new series has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). While maintaining the iconic design, advanced technology and SUV performance, the company has added better comfort and new features to it.

Tata Sierra Legend Series is offered in 5 major variants keeping in mind the different needs of the customers:

  • Smart+ L (Rs 11.99 lakh): This is the base variant of this series. It gets features like leatherette seats, door trims, armrest, steering-mounted controls, auto-fold ORVMs, passive entry and passive start, bi-LED projector headlamps and electronic parking brake.
  • Pure L (Rs 13.79 lakh): This variant has 17-inch alloy wheels, premium leatherette interior, 26.03 cm HD infotainment system, 8-speaker audio setup, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, TPMS and hill-descent control.
  • Pure L (O) (Rs 14.29 lakh): Along with all the features of the Pure L, it also includes the segment’s largest ‘Panomax’ voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.
  • Pure+ L (Rs 14.99 lakh): Improving cabin comfort, it comes with ventilated front seats, 6-way powered driver seat with thigh support extender, Boss Mode, dual-zone automatic climate control and 65W USB-C fast charger for both front and rear passengers.
  • Adventure+ L (Rs 16.99 lakh): This is the top variant of this series. It gets high-tech features like 360-degree HD surround view system with 4Sight, Superglide suspension with FOD, multiple terrain modes, 31.24 cm touchscreen infotainment, 26.03 cm digital cockpit with navigation, front parking sensors, ambient lighting, wireless charger and cooled glovebox.

5-star safety rating and three engine options

In terms of safety, this car has been built on a body structure with 5-star BNCAP safety rating. The entire series is provided with 6 airbags as standard, ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with more than 20 functions and disc brakes on all four wheels.

For performance, buyers get three engine options:

  • 1.5-litre Hyperion TGDi petrol engine
  • 1.5-litre Revotron petrol engine
  • 1.5-litre Cryojet diesel engine

All these engines are available with both manual and automatic transmission options.
