Textile and apparel sector will get new momentum in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, complete preparations are going on to give a new and strong momentum to the textile and apparel sector at the global level. A very wonderful proposal is being prepared by the state government to develop 'Sant Kabir Textile and Apparel Park' in Mau, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Sitapur and Rae Bareli. Under this entire scheme, a special plan has been made to make best use of the lands of the old spinning mills lying closed in the state, so that a new industrial empire can be created on the barren or unused lands.
New industrial structure will be built on old and closed land
After getting the land measured at all these proposed places, a complete report on its current condition is being prepared rapidly. If needed, additional land will also be made available for the project. After this, roads, electricity, water and all other necessary basic facilities will be developed in all these areas, so that industrial plots can be provided to the investors immediately. It is being told that this important proposal can be placed before the cabinet for approval only next month.
Deep interest is increasing among big businessmen of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Now the interest of big investors from other states in this rapidly changing textile sector of Uttar Pradesh is also increasing rapidly. According to the information, many renowned businessmen associated with Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Surat and Mumbai in Maharashtra have openly expressed their desire to set up their new units in Uttar Pradesh. Easily available land in the state, low labor costs and easy access to big markets in the country and abroad are being counted among the biggest reasons for this huge investment.
Preparations are already going on war footing at these five places
Not only this, but Sant Kabir Textile Parks are already being developed in Ramna, Amroha, Bahedi (Bareilly), Maghar (Santkabir Nagar) and Nagina (Bijnor) of Varanasi in the state. Under all these ambitious projects, state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities are being created in a large area of about 50 to 80 acres, due to which Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming the largest textile hub of the country.
Along with investment, bumper employment opportunities will be created for the youth.
According to State Handicrafts and Textiles Minister Rakesh Sachan, industrial activities are continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh and these new parks are being prepared in view of the increasing demand of the textile industry. The construction of these new parks will not only bring huge investment, but will also create new and golden employment opportunities for lakhs of youth in the textile and apparel sector of the state.
