National Song Debate: 'Vande Mataram'… Amidst the ongoing controversy regarding this patriotic song, now the statement of lyricist and screenwriter Manoj Muntashir has come out and his style is also quite sharp. Actually, there is a controversy going on regarding limiting 'Vande Mataram' to only two verses. Giving his reaction on this issue, Manoj Muntashir said that the leader of the opposition should desist from such activities.

In his statement, he said, “There was and is Suryavanshi self-respect in the veins, the saffron sky was and is since Sanatan itself, we call Shivaji and Nanak as fathers, we call ours, our father's Hindustan was and is. This statement of Manoj Muntashir has come at a time when the political debate is intense regarding the entire song of 'Vande Mataram' and some of its verses.
During the Youth Religion Parliament, he also expressed his views regarding the live musical show 'Mera Desh Pehle: Narendra Modi Ki Ankahi Kahani' based on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Talking to a news agency, Muntashir said that if the same faith and understanding about religion and Indian culture continues among the youth of the country, then no one can harm the culture of India even after thousands of years. In the same conversation, he also mentioned that aspect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life which impressed him the most. Manoj Muntashir said that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life has to be summed up in just one word, that word would be 'service'.
