District Supply Officer Dhruv Gupta informed that 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' is being conducted in the district from 17 September 2026 to 17 October 2026 with the aim of extending the benefits of public welfare schemes to the last rung of the society and promoting social participation. Through the campaign, collective efforts are being given momentum in the direction of 'Developed India-2047' by strengthening the resolutions of service, good governance and development.
He said that under this comprehensive campaign which will last for a month, various social, public awareness and public convenience related programs are being organized related to food security schemes. The main objective of the campaign is to deliver the benefits of the schemes to the eligible beneficiaries easily, transparently and in a time bound manner.
Under the campaign, a collective resolution of 'Service and Developed India-2047' was expressed through collective lamp lighting at 07:00 pm at major public places, Annapurna buildings and fair price shops.
Shri Gupta said that through digital mediums, photographs and short videos, the transparency in the ration distribution system, use of modern technology and the experiences of the beneficiaries will be conveyed to the public in the form of 'service stories'. Along with this, information about food security schemes and available facilities will be made available to the general public through 'Seva Setu'.
Special camps are being organized at fair price shops during the campaign period. In these camps, arrangements are being made for name correction in ration cards, speeding up the process of e-KYC and quick resolution of consumer problems.
He said that work is being done to make the food grain distribution system more convenient and transparent through modern Annapurna buildings. Besides, information about additional civic facilities available at these buildings is also being made available to the general public.
Along with increasing awareness about food security schemes, special attention is also being given to prompt disposal of complaints related to ration distribution. For this, arrangements have been made to hear and resolve complaints through toll-free number and online portal.
District Supply Officer Dhruv Gupta has appealed to all the ration card holders of the district, the families benefiting from the Ujjwala scheme and the general public to take maximum advantage of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' by participating in camps and programs near them and avail the benefits of facilities and services related to food security schemes.
