-Life saving medicines arrived by Air Force aircraft
New Delhi. Fulfilling its neighborly duty, India has sent another big consignment of 11 tonnes of relief material to Nepal which is battling devastating floods (India Nepal Relief). Indian Air Force's special aircraft (9th flight) was dispatched to Nepal with life-saving medicines, hygiene kits and forensic equipment. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal gave this information while sharing the post of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the social media platform 'X'. He said that India is continuously cooperating to help Nepal in its recovery and reconstruction after the disaster.
Highlights of the relief campaign
- More than 140 tons of help: India has so far provided more than 140 tonnes of humanitarian aid and disaster relief materials to Nepal (India Nepal Relief).
