Asmadhemaji. The first death anniversary of heartthrob Zubin Garg was observed today in various areas of the state as well as in Silapathar. This evening in the center of Silapathar city, under the leadership of AATASU and with the cooperation of various parties and organizations and residents of Silapathar, 'Jubin Day' was organized on the occasion of the first anniversary of the death of life artist Zubin Garg. Everyone paid tribute to Zubin Garg by lighting a lamp in front of his portrait.
Lighting the lamps and forming the shape of ZG, everyone sang the song 'Mayabini Ratir Bukut' together in an emotional atmosphere.
And by offering it, wishes were made for the salvation of his departed soul. Former Chief Advisor of ATASU Dulal Barua said that it has been more than a year since Zubin Garg left us, but the government has not been able to provide justice till now, which is unfortunate. He said that Zubin is in the hearts of the people and will always be there.
He also informed that the people of Silapathar have formed a committee to construct a statue in the memory of Zubin Garg. A large number of people participated in the ritual including teachers Chitra Borgohain, Dr. Uttam Das, Ashok Jain, Dev Pegu, Bhuvan Das, Manuj Das.
