Tezzbuzz Desk – Amidst the questions being raised about not participating in the enlightenment program of Janata Dal United (JDU), Union Minister and senior party leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh has clarified his position. Lalan Singh, who reached Patna on Saturday, said that he was in Gujarat at the time of the program and he had no prior knowledge about it. He also said that JDU is completely united and there is no difference of opinion in the party.

Let us tell you that on Friday, an orientation program was organized by JDU in Patna for the MLAs and Legislative Council members. After Lalan Singh and JDU MLA Anant Singh did not attend the program, questions started being raised regarding differences within the party.

Lalan Singh told that many MLAs had called him regarding the program. He told everyone that he was in Gujarat and would not be able to attend the program. He also said that Nishant Kumar had called him a night before the program and during that time too he had informed about his busyness and being in Gujarat. Later he also spoke to JDU working president Sanjay Jha on phone.

Lalan Singh said that JDU was formed by Nitish Kumar and decisions in the party are taken through mutual discussion and coordination. He denied any dispute within the party and said that all the leaders are working together.

At the same time, when asked questions on the ongoing dispute between Anant Singh and JDU leader Neeraj Kumar, Lalan Singh refused to comment. He said that there is no difference of opinion in the party and there is no need for much discussion on this issue. The war of words between Anant Singh and Neeraj Kumar regarding Patna Graduate constituency has intensified in recent times.
