Shribhoomi- Newly appointed branch manager Amit Kumar took charge at the newly established branch of Union Bank of India at Ratabari in Shribhoomi district. When he reached the bank, the local youth welcomed him warmly and traditionally greeted him with a gamchha. Local people said that the opening of a new bank branch in the area will provide a lot of convenience to the villagers.
Especially women and elderly people will get relief from the trouble of traveling to far-flung areas for banking services. According to the information, along with regular banking services, the process of opening new bank accounts will also start in the branch from coming Wednesday. The local youth expressed gratitude to all those who have been trying for a long time to establish a bank branch.
On this occasion, thanks were also expressed to Karimganj MP Kripanath Malah, Ramakrishnanagar MLA Vijay Malakar and Union Bank of India Regional Manager Abhinav Bhatt. Local people expressed hope that the opening of the new bank branch will expand banking services in the area as well as boost economic activities.
