Shocking news is coming out from South Indian film industry. Famous actress Radha has taken a drastic step and filed a police complaint against her sister and brother. Radha has accused her brother Mallikarjun Kunjan Nair and sister Ambika of cheating her, stealing her signed checks from her house and trying to defraud her of crores of rupees.
Radha approached the police commissioner
Radha is a well-known actress of South Indian cinema. She has appeared as the lead actress in many films in the 80s and 90s. He is currently in the news due to a family dispute. On 21 September, the actress filed a complaint with the Greater Chennai Police Commissioner, accusing her sister and brother of fraud.
How did Radha come to know about the fraud?
According to a report, Radha’s complaint stated that she had a current account with IDBI Bank for a business, earlier known as ARS Garden Studio. She had several signed checks from this account. According to the actress, she used to keep these signed checks for taxes, garden maintenance, other expenses and employee salaries, so that there would be no hindrance in paying any employees’ salaries or other expenses while she was away.
Radha changed the name of her business to RR Gardens
It may be noted that in January 2025, Radha changed the name of her business to RR Gardens. Subsequently, the bank issued him a new check book with the same name. The actress stopped using or maintaining the old checkbook. However, the bank noticed some movement based on checks in the old check book. The bank then called the actress to inform her that her sister, Ambika, had tried to cash five checks from an old checkbook claiming about ₹46 crore (approximately ₹46 crore). However, it failed.
Radha demanded action
Radha said that her sister was being cheated for not handing over the cheque. While the actress was out, her checks were stolen and misused. After accusing her sister Ambika, Radha accuses her brother Mallikarjun of crossing the cheque. If the allegations are proved, Radha has demanded action against her sister and brother in the case.
