New Delhi. Indian Air Force said that seven countries America, France, Germany, Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates (UAE) will participate in the second edition of Exercise 'Tarang Shakti' organized at Jodhpur Air Force Station from 26 September to 12 October.
India will showcase its air assets including Rafale, Mirage-2000, Jaguar, Tejas, MiG-29 and Su-30 MKI during the multilateral air exercise. The objective of this exercise is to showcase the defense capability of the country and provide a platform to promote better coordination and joint working capability between the armies of different countries.
The Indian Air Force said that the multi-role stealth fighter aircraft F-35 of the US, Rafale of France, F-16 of the UAE and C-130J of Bangladesh will perform their “joint tactical maneuvers” for two weeks at the Jodhpur Air Force Station between the air forces of different countries.
Officials said the F-35 had participated in 'Aero India 2025', but it would be displayed for the first time in exercise 'Tarang Shakti'. This larger exercise will be conducted immediately after Exercise 'Veer Guardian'. 'Veer Guardian' is a bilateral air exercise between the air forces of India and Japan, which was held at the same location from September 9 to 22. The first edition of the exercise was conducted in Sulur and Jodhpur in Tamil Nadu in two phases in 2024. Fighter planes from many countries including Britain, Germany and France took part in it.
