Four innocent students have died in a train accident in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. It is also known that one more student is seriously injured.
According to the police, all these students were walking on the tracks. They did not see the Rajya Rani Express that came suddenly. which caused this accident. The deceased include Visakha Rao, Dilip Kumar, Shiva and Sharath Kumar. They were walking along the tracks from Naupada towards Tekkali.
All 11th/12th students
The revenue divisional officer of Tekkali and the police went to the spot and conducted panchnama. The name of the student injured in this incident is Salmon Raju. He is undergoing treatment at the Tekkali government hospital. According to the locals, the deceased students in the incident were studying in Intermediate (XIth and XIIth). His age was 16 to 17 years. The Superintendent of Police here informed that the case has been registered and the investigation has started.
Condolences from Chief Minister
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed grief over the death of four students. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased students. He has taken detailed information about this incident. According to police officials, these students did not realize that the express was coming towards them. Therefore, at first glance, it seems that this accident happened.
The Chief Minister has ordered the District Collector to announce aid for the dead students and has also given instructions to pay the expenses of the injured students. YSR Congress Party President and Former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has also expressed grief over this train accident.
