He told that during the shooting of the film, a director allegedly reached his room late at night and asked him to compromise.
According to Sandeepa, after this incident she refused to compromise, due to which she was allegedly thrown out of the film. The actress also claimed that she had faced similar offers while working in the music video industry.
Reason given for doing only one Punjabi film
During the interview, Sandeepa Virk was asked why she distanced herself from the industry after working in only one film in Punjabi cinema. In response to this question, he mentioned his experiences and said that he faced many such situations which made it difficult for him to work there.
The actress claimed that the director came to her room at midnight during the shooting of a film. According to him, the director was allegedly drunk and was asked to 'compromise' in exchange for continuing with the film. Sandeepa told that at that time about seven days of shooting of the film had been completed.
He flatly refused to accept this proposal. According to the actress, she was then threatened with being fired from the film and was eventually dropped from the project.
Claim of similar experience in music video also
Sandeepa did not limit her experience only to the film industry. He also reportedly claimed to have received such offers during his work related to Punjabi music videos. According to the actress, inappropriate personal relationships were allegedly demanded of her on different occasions. He said that sometimes he had to face such proposals, sometimes from a leading actor and sometimes from a director.
Sandeepa also claimed that she once faced a similar situation while working in Bollywood. However, he did not publicly name any person in connection with these incidents.
