Greater Noida. The strength of Uttar Pradesh, from traditional skills to modern manufacturing, was visible to the world in Greater Noida on Friday. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched the fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This time, more than 600 foreign buyers have arrived from 90 countries, while more than 2,400 exhibitors are participating in the trade show with their products. In his address, CM Yogi said that today the whole world has faith in the quality of Uttar Pradesh's products, strong supply chain and credibility of the entrepreneurs here. Today the state is exporting more than Rs 2 lakh crore.

Increasing footfall is a sign of global confidence
The Chief Minister said that in four years, the UP International Trade Show has become a big platform to showcase the products manufactured in the state to the world. Last year, 550 buyers from 72 countries participated in it. This time, more than 600 buyers from 90 countries have arrived and around 1.5 lakh B2B visitors are expected to attend the event. This increasing participation shows the growing global confidence in the skills of the artisans of Uttar Pradesh, the innovation of the youth, the MSME sector and the hard work of Annadata farmers.
The Chief Minister said that the world follows the one who is connected to his roots and keeps pace with the world. UP International Trade Show is an example of this. It is an opportunity to see tradition and technology, heritage and innovation combined with skill and market power. Here the local strength of UP is making its mark in front of the global market. This double engine is the work culture of transforming the government's capability into possibility and possibility into prosperity.
Amit Shah had recognized the power of traditional enterprises

The Chief Minister described Amit Shah as the source of inspiration for the idea of giving a new identity to the traditional enterprises of the state. He said that while being the National President of BJP in the year 2017, Amit Shah ji had recognized the strength of the traditional enterprises of the state while preparing the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra of Uttar Pradesh. He believed that the day Uttar Pradesh recognizes its strength, no one will be able to stop it from moving forward as a new hub of manufacturing. After the formation of the government, this thinking was branded as 'One District-One Product'.
Village skills got world market
The Chief Minister said that there was never any dearth of possibilities in Uttar Pradesh. The need was to identify that potential, provide it with the right environment and take it to the big market. For decades after independence, the artisans did not get the necessary resources, right direction, market and platform. The effect of this was that the new generation started moving away from their ancestral skills. The government identified the skills present in districts, villages and local clusters and gave them an opportunity to move forward.
He said that talent and tradition were linked with technology. Through quality, design, packaging, certification, branding and marketing, local products were prepared according to the domestic and global markets. The expansion of world-class infrastructure in the form of expressways, highways, airports, freight corridors and industrial infrastructure has facilitated access for local products to large and global markets.
79 products get GI tag, 75 more in line

The Chief Minister said that 79 products of MSME sector of Uttar Pradesh have got GI tag and application has been made for 75 new products. Referring to the carpets of Bhadohi, brass of Moradabad, perfumes of Kannauj and silk sarees of Varanasi, he said that the cultural heritage of the state has now turned into a brand with a turnover of crores of rupees. Schemes like ODOP, PM Vishwakarma and Vishwakarma Shram Samman have provided artisans with training, toolkits, loans, branding and market links. Artisans and entrepreneurs are directly reaching out to global buyers at trade shows.
Pavilions of six countries, new avenues of business
Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Singapore, Austria and Belarus are associated as partner countries in the UP International Trade Show. Their special pavilions have also been set up. The Chief Minister said that the participation of these countries will take bilateral trade relations to new heights. Avenues for strategic partnership, technology transfer and joint ventures will also open. By taking advantage of the free trade agreements signed with many big countries of the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh is giving an opportunity to international companies to produce here and reach the global market from here.
Union Home Minister and Chief Minister watched the trade show through e-cart
The program was started by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by paying floral tributes on the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. The Chief Minister presented a statue of Radha-Krishna made of opal glass to the Home Minister under ODOP of Firozabad. After this, both the leaders came together in e-cart to see the stalls set up in the trade show. Stopped at different stalls and saw the products and took information about them from the entrepreneurs. In the presence of the Chief Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also launched the 'One District One Dish' ODOC portal.
More than one crore MSMEs are providing employment to more than three crore people.

MSME Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said that UP International Trade Show has become the brand of Uttar Pradesh. There will be B2B meetings with buyers from different countries and small products of the state will get global exposure. More than one crore MSME units in the state are providing employment to more than three crore people. After agriculture, it is the most employment generating sector. So far, more than six lakh handicraftsmen have benefited from training and advanced toolkits through ODOP and Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana. With the addition of 14 new trades, there are now 25 trades linked to the training and advanced toolkit. Loans are also being provided to entrepreneurs without interest and guarantee.
