President of IIHMR University Dr. P.R. Sodani Said that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are relevant even today, because he presents views on such topics related to society which are important even in the present times. These include developing one's capabilities, strengthening the sense of responsibility and contributing to nation building.
He said that when India is going through significant changes at the social, economic and global level, connecting with the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda provides an opportunity to consider the values which can be useful in guiding the country's development journey.

During the session, students and other participants got an opportunity to interact on topics related to India's civilizational thinking, leadership, social change and India's aspirations in the changing global environment.
The discussion also emphasized that it is necessary to understand the basic ideas in new contexts and reinterpret them in the context of current social and global challenges.
Rajiv Sikri shared diplomatic experience
Joined the Indian Foreign Service in the year 1970 Ambassador Rajiv Sikri referred to his long diplomatic experience and studies while discussing the book and the continuing relevance of Swami Vivekananda's ideas.
