Technology Desk: Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is preparing to launch its new 5G smartphone Redmi 17C 5G in the Indian market. The company has announced the India launch date of the phone. Along with this, a glimpse of the design and color options of the smartphone has also been revealed.
The company will launch Redmi 17C 5G in India on October 1. Redmi has shared the teaser of the phone's launch on social media platform X. The tagline of the post is #MainCharacterEnergy. The rear design of the phone is clearly visible in the teaser.

Redmi 17C 5G will enter the Indian market on October 1. According to the teaser revealed before the launch, a rectangular camera module has been given on the top left side of the back panel of the phone. It has two camera lenses installed vertically, while LED flash is also present with them.
The phone will be launched in three color options in India. Talking about the front, a waterdrop style notch can be seen in it.
Already launched in the global market
The company has launched Redmi 17C 5G in global markets including Singapore in August. There, the starting price of the model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage of the phone was kept at SGD 279, which is approximately Rs 20,900 in Indian currency.
In the global market, this smartphone has been made available in black, brown and purple colors. In such a situation, it is expected that the company can launch the phone with these color options in India also.
Large 6.9-inch display and 120Hz refresh rate
Redmi 17C 5G has a 6.9 inch HD + display. Its refresh rate is 120Hz, while the peak brightness is said to be up to 810 nits.

The phone will be equipped with Dimensity 6300 processor
For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset has been provided in Redmi 17C 5G. It is based on 6nm process. The global model has 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.
