After the existing model being in the market for almost five years, this time Hyundai is launching it in the market not only with minor changes but with a completely new look and advanced technology.
All the technical features, engine options and new design of this car will be unveiled during Hyundai's official press conference to be held at Paris Expo Port de Versailles. According to the information revealed so far, the exterior of the car will look more muscular, aggressive and premium than before. It will include a newly designed lighting setup, new bumper and changed body panels, which will give it the look of a real SUV.
The cabin of the car has also been completely changed. The interior will see a brand new dashboard layout, connected car technology, digital instrument cluster and large touchscreen infotainment system. The company has left no stone unturned in terms of safety and comfort.
After creating a stir in the international market, the next destination of this car is going to be India. It will play a very important role in Hyundai's portfolio for the Indian market. It will be placed in the segment below Hyundai's very successful SUV 'Creta'. The Bayon, which is expected to be built on 'Global's enhanced platform' for Indian roads, is expected to have an overall length of over 4.2 metres.
The model to be launched in India is likely to have the option of manual and IVT automatic transmission along with a powerful petrol engine. The cabin of the car is being decorated keeping in mind the preferences of Indian customers. It may include high-tech features like panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless smartphone charger and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The enthusiasm about Hyundai Bayon in the Indian auto market has increased so much that the company has also started the process of initial bookings for it at the dealership level. However, its exact launch date and final prices in India will be officially announced by Hyundai in the upcoming months.
