The mood of the weather is going to change once again and in these last days of September, many parts of the country may see heavy rains and storms. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department i.e. IMD, there is every possibility of heavy rains along with strong thunderstorms and gusty winds in many states of North India on September 27. Especially from the hilly areas to the plain states, this harsh form of weather can increase the problems of the people.
Warning of huge devastation in Uttarakhand and Himachal
The weather is going to be most dangerous in the hilly states. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of extremely heavy rain in Uttarakhand, where the situation may become serious. Apart from this, a strong alert of very heavy rain has also been issued in Himachal Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh. According to IMD's local forecast, there is a high risk of lightning and strong winds along with torrential rain in major areas like Dehradun and Shimla. This is not a matter of relief because after 27th and 28th September there is full possibility of continuation of heavy rains in Himachal.
Heavy rain and storm from UP to Delhi
After the mountains, now an orgy of clouds will be seen in the plains as well. On September 27, heavy rain and intense thunderstorms have been predicted in western Uttar Pradesh as well as Haryana, Chandigarh and the national capital Delhi. In the neighboring state of Punjab also, a dangerous storm-like situation may occur with heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has warned that the danger of lightning will be highest in Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand amid thunder, hence people have been strictly advised not to come out of their homes unnecessarily during bad weather and to exercise complete caution.
Danger of lightning in many areas including East Rajasthan
Apart from these states of North India, the weather in Eastern Rajasthan and some other areas will also deteriorate on September 27. Here, a serious situation of lightning accompanied by thunder can occur. According to IMD, continuous thunderstorms are expected to continue in eastern Rajasthan from 27th to 29th September. In such dangerous weather, one should completely avoid going in open fields, standing under a tree or wandering around electric poles and always keep a close eye on the warnings of the local meteorological department so that any untoward incident can be avoided.
