The case of death of jewelery businessman Bhupendra Soni, which took place under suspicious circumstances in Manas Bihar Apartment of Naini Kotwali area, gained momentum due to the negligence of the police.
The family members have refused to accept it as an accident and have accused him of murder. Police have registered a case after the uproar by family members and traffic jam.
According to the information, the deceased was Bhupendra Soni, son of Nebbu Lal Soni, resident of Champatpur, Ghurpur area. It is being told that the family members did not have clear information about how the youth reached Manas Bihar Colony after leaving the house. Later, when the news of his death under suspicious circumstances was received, there was panic in the family.
As soon as the body reached home after post-mortem, there was chaos among the family members. According to family members, the post-mortem report mentions an injury on the right side of the head and injury/fracture on the right rib. Based on this, the family members expressed apprehension that the young man was assaulted and murdered. It is alleged that after the incident, Naini Police did not take immediate action on their complaint.
Angered by this, family members and villagers blocked the road by keeping the dead body on the road. As soon as information about the jam was received, there was panic in the police administration. The police officers who reached the spot explained to the family members and assured them of action. The family members say that only when they kept the dead body and blocked the road, the police registered an FIR in the matter. After the case was registered and assurance of action, the family calmed down and Bhupendra Soni's body was cremated.
