A series of gunmen attacks in South Africa within a few hours. At least 27 people died in this surprise attack by friends in two places. The entire incident has spread panic. Police have started searching for the attackers. However, no one has been arrested so far.
According to police sources, the first attack took place on Saturday evening in Johannesburg. 8 gunmen suddenly entered a bar there. Before anyone knew anything, they started shooting randomly. 17 people died in this attack. Besides, 15 others were injured. After firing indiscriminately, they set fire to two cars parked outside before leaving the area. According to the police, 13 men and 4 women were among the dead. It is still unclear what led to the attack.

A few hours later, the second attack took place in the early hours of Sunday. A mass shooting outside an entertainment center in a township in Cape Town also left 10 dead. Besides, 11 others were injured. Among them, 5 people died on the spot. When the rest were taken to the hospital, 5 people died while undergoing treatment. No one has been arrested in the incident till Sunday morning. The police are investigating the reason for the attack. Whether terrorism is behind this attack is also being investigated.
