Two MLAs and one MLC
Jansatta Dal was formed on 30 November 2018. At present the party has three members in the legislature. Among them, Raja Bhaiya himself is from Kunda and Vinod Saroj is MLA from Babaganj seat of Pratapgarh, while Akshay Pratap Singh is the MLC of the party. That means Jansatta Dal has two MLAs and one Legislative Council member. Citing this existing political presence, Raja Bhaiya said that even without any alliance, his party has three members in the legislature and this number is more than that of Congress and BSP. Raja Bhaiya himself has made this comparison in his statement.
Target to win more seats in 2027
Raja Bhaiya said that like other political parties, Jansatta Dal also wants to win as many seats as possible. At present, the party has not held talks with any party regarding alliance nor has the name of any possible alliance been revealed. In such a situation, on one hand the party is talking about preparations to get more seats in the elections on its own, while on the other hand the possibility of alliance with a like-minded party has also been kept open.
