New Delhi. There are signs of weakness from the global market today. US markets closed with losses during the last session. Dow Johns Futures also seems to be trading with weakness today.
European markets closed with mixed results during the last session. There is generally selling pressure in the Asian market today.
The US market remained in a downward trend during the last session due to the rise in crude oil prices in the international market and increase in treasury yields.
Dow Johns Industrial Average fell by 347.11 points or 0.67 percent to the level of 51,481.51 points. Similarly, the S&P 500 index fell 0.77 percent and ended the last session’s trading at the level of 7,683.69 points.
Apart from this, Nasdaq slipped 248.34 points or 0.92 percent and closed at the level of 26,820.38 points. At the same time, Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 51,413.25 points with a decline of 0.13 percent.
European markets closed with mixed results after trading under sustained pressure during the previous session. The FTSE index closed at 10,684.88 with a weakness of 0.10 percent.
Similarly, the DAX index slipped 0.13 percent and ended the last session’s trading at the level of 25,374.42 points.
On the other hand, CAC index managed to close at the level of 8,078.48 points with a nominal gain of 0.01 percent due to buying done at the end of the session.
There seems to be a weak trend in the Asian market today. Indices of eight out of nine markets in Asia are trading in the red with a decline, while one index is seen in the green with a slight rise.
The only Shanghai Composite Index in the Asian market is currently trading at the level of 3,826.51 points with a slight rise of 0.08 percent.
On the other hand, GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 22,695 points with a decline of 129.50 points or 0.57 percent. Similarly, the SET Composite Index has slipped 0.50 percent to the level of 1,594.42 points.
There is a big decline in Nikkei index today. At present this index has fallen by 754.62 points or 1.15 percent and has reached the level of 65,123 points.
There seems to be continuous pressure on the Hang Seng Index today. At present this index has fallen by 215.51 points or 0.87 percent to the level of 24,427 points. Similarly, Kospi index has reached the level of 6,833.67 points with a weakness of 0.81 percent.
Apart from this, Taiwan Weighted Index fell by 319.55 points or 0.67 percent to the level of 47,705.05 points, Jakarta Composite Index slipped by 0.38 percent to the level of 6,124.42 points and Straits Times Index slipped by 0.16 percent to the level of 5,713.62 points.
