Hyderabad. BJP has been upset many times in the past over the statements of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. Now BJP is once again angry over the statement of Revanth Reddy. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy made a statement comparing religious and political identities during an event in Hyderabad. BJP has termed this statement of Revanth Reddy as an attempt to divide communities for political gains. Let us tell you that BJP leaders including PM Narendra Modi allege that Congress has now become Muslim League. Revanth Reddy had earlier described Congress and Muslims as the same.

Revanth Reddy said in the program that we are Dravidians and they are Aryans. We are devotees of Lord Shiva. They belong to Lord Rama. He described Lord Shiva as the god of the poor and Lord Ram as the god of the rich. Telangana CM said that people worship Lord Ram and Shiva. He also raised questions on BJP saying Jai Shri Ram. Revanth Reddy said why do PM Narendra Modi and BJP leaders not say Har Har Mahadev in the same way.

On Revanth Reddy's statement, Union Minister and Telangana BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the Telangana CM is creating political division between Lord Shiva and Lord Ram. He talked about PM Modi's visit to Vemulawada by mentioning his connection with Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. Bandi Sanjay Kumar refuted Revanth Reddy's claim that BJP leaders do not take the name of Lord Shiva. He said that Revanth Reddy had earlier said that Muslims are Congress and Congress is Muslims. The Union Minister said that being the CM of Telangana, one should be aware of South Kashi in Vemulawada and South Ayodhya in Bhadrachalam. Lord Shiva and Lord Ram should not be divided into North and South. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that Congress is using religious and regional identity for political mobilization.
